About Nick
A little about myself
The Lamborghini Countach and the Porsche 911. As a small boy, those were my two favorite Matchbox cars and like most little boys, my childhood was filled with them. I remember playing and pretending to slide them around, but it wasn't until I was 12 that my real love of cars began.
When I was 12 in the summer of 1996, my parents went to look at cars at the local Ford dealership. Even though they were looking for a more practical family car, I had my eyes set on the Mustang GT. The shape of the body, the sounds of the engine, and the roar of the exhaust drew me in. Granted, my parents didn't buy me the Mustang that day but since then, I was hooked.
As a teenager, I started reading books about the Mustang and then it turned into watching moves with Mustangs in it. The great car chase in the movie Bullit with the 1968 Mustang GT Fastback with a 390 hp engine stopped me dead in my tracks. From there my love for other memorable car chases grew; from French Connection to Ronin, Gone in Sixty Seconds, James Bond, and many more. That is when I started to admire the artform of precision driving.
In high school, the lower student parking lot was made of gravel and dirt. I would wake up early every day just to get to school before any one else to be able to have the chance to drive in there and slide my car around, pulling the e-brake, downshifting, and learning to control my car in imaginary situations.
Throughout my years in college, my passion for driving and cars grew further. However as life would have it, I graduated and got a job in corporate america as a motion graphics designer. I fell into a rut of the daily grind of corporate life. It was not until one year on vacation to Disneyworld that I witnessed the extreme stunt show, "Lights, Motors, Action!" which rekindled my passion for driving again. All the childhood feelings I felt when I heard the sounds of the engines as they zipped around corners, the accuracy in which they turned - there was nothing in the show that I was not excited about. After the show had ended, I asked to speak with the stunt coordinator and show producer. They were so gracious with their time and recommended schools and courses of action that would help me find my dream again. That is when my quest began, to fullfill these dreams of becoming a precision/stunt driver.
I started by completing the Drivers East stunt driving school and soon after, attended Skip Barber race school where eventually I acquired a SCCA regional race license. I also made a trip down to Florida to complete the Bobby Ore Stunt school. Each experience has helped me build upon what I've learned and each time I was in the car, it made me feel like I was home. I know this is where I was meant to be.
It is now time to take my knowledge and skills to the next level. It is my dream and passion to make precision/stunt driving my career, and I am available to perform & work for you.
